Bearly doing it.......

 Been a while, but I'm getting better at this retirement.  Been busy, and been working hard.  I did a week of subbing since the last time, but that's to help me with my hobbies.  

Hobbies #1 - painting.  Been wanting to do a large painting ( 36" by 42") for my section of where I put my big paintings.  Here's the final effect, yeah that's right I painted this..

But since I did a painting I wanted a matching quilt to go with it on my wall, so I did a bear quilt by Art East Quilting Company.  Love their quilts, and their work.  I have purchased a number of their quilt patterns but take a look at the link to see their blocks of the month, enough to make you amazed.  Here's the one I completed.  It's a bear claw......

And this is where we have it.  From the 2nd floor you can see and it always brings a smile to my face and my husband's face.

Take a look in the mirror, you're smiling  :) 

On another note to make you smile.  This is what we saw in White Rock, BC right by the ocean a couple of days ago.

Amazing site.  Even more amazing to hear them talk to each other.  And that's it for today.  Take care.
